[DNA clock teaches tweens]

Haha, very true!

I was going to give a 0 for violence, but seeing the eye-poking changed my mind! Fantastic, because it is so true. I don't completely hate shape tweens, because in the hands of a talented tweener, it can look quite good. I mean, you can't even begin to make 3D vector movement in Flash MX without shape tweens, unless you use a crappy other program to do it. And it always seems to look better when done in Flash.

But I get your message, so people - *Don't use shape tweens unless you know what you're doing!!!* Great movie, very funny - and this is yet another example of why clocks shouldn't be generalised into the hate category, which I sometimes do by accident, not realising that there are some quite good movies out there!

It's nice to see more education on Newgrounds...

[Stick Figure Suicide]

Very good movie

It produced what it offered, a blend of violence and humour. However, my friend and I noticed that a few of the options are technically not suicide (my friend moreso than I!). Being killed is not classed as killing yourself.

[Clock Invaders]

I liked this...

it was a space invadors clone (obvious, i know...) but it was a well-made one. I loved the graphics, it suited the theme perfectly without lagging the game. However, the game still lagged slightly for me, but I put this down to some inefficient coding... (sorry but its probably true... i think the person that coded this used every individual movieclip... it could have been done with loops and duplicate/mirror clips, but other than that it was a pretty damn fun game for a while. Well done

Fun for a bit...

But I noticed the bug with the Chainsaw guy hanging out of the banner too... I probably got half my points from that... although that isnt saying much seeing as I only got 600! Aah well... I liked the game... I doubt the coding or anything was hard, but in terms of playability, Im giving it a 2/5... because it isnt anything TOO new or interesting... but it is fun for a bit, and its nice to have a cute little simple game every now and then in the portal! I look forward to more of your work! Keep it up!

You bitch! What the hell did you think you were playing at! Stealing hardworking, strongly successful coding and animation for such a greatly made example, and submitting it! And you didnt even look at the .fla file to edit anything... it has the same title screen! Check out www.flashkit.com, a Flash developers source, and check the games tutorial section. Oh look, this very game! same sound, graphics, same game... except different author. Coincidence? No! Stolen... very! The real author is a hardworking guy called Ciaran Hickey...

You just got the .swf and submitted it! Please, everyone, blam him for stealing hard-working programmers games... and by the way, the 'author' of this... Dominic whatever, im gonna be so kind as to email the real author and give him your email address... arent i kind!

great concept.but this is newgrounds

this movie has so much potential... but thats the max. however, i loved the smoothness of the character, and the way the background moves. very good. i think the interactivity was great, and a lot better than the so-called 'games' on this site that may look great but are unplayable and very slow-paced. also, the character movement could be a little smoother. sorry about the 4, but i feel taht if everyone voted fairly that is what it should get... anyway, make it longer.

Great.... simply great!

Squan Razz! Its your Friend Barry... also a Flash Programmer... well, firstly, top class game! It rules, and is a good idea. Considering you are only a 15 yr old student who writes and animates himself, it is totally RULING! But, a few pointers... the in-game sound loop is not done properly...it repeats after,like, a 15 second gap, and i found it sounds real sloppy. Solve this by puttin music in 1 frame, not in like 100, and also use the sound property box to loop it, if you didnt already. Well great work... and as for the other IDIOT reviewers that mouthed it off, im sure you cant even begin to understand the complexities of designing a game of this quality... go screw yourselves, especially that weird bitch with the 'Rachael BJ Stoned' 'Joke'... very sad! Good work

thanks Barry! You're totally right... a lot of these arseholes on this site just look at the game compared to ones made by massive teams, they dont even stop to think of the coding! Well, I probably wont edit the sound, but if i ever do update the game, that will be the first thing I will change! Thanks for a ruling, informative review Baz
