[Jesus in... The MATRIX]

I liked it... kinda

Hey, I could see that you put a lot of effort into making this, and on the review bar, Ive given it a 3 because Newgrounds needs hard work... ORIGINAL hard work. But even though I did watch it all through and think it was pretty good... it was actually hard to watch. Im not exactly sure why, but for 1, I had to turn my speakers RIGHT the way up to make out the dialogue... the dialogue itself was good... but still...

And for a movie that is 735kb, I can't understand how the quality of sound was bad. Either get a better microphone, or put the publish settings up for sound. BUT you also probably want to take the image quality down to cut that filesize down... theres nothing worse than an average movie being over a mb big! But good work, and as this is your first (not blammed) submission, Id say that youve done pretty good. In someways its better than my first (and only surviving) submission... but my animation is better! =)

Well, keep the good work up, and I expect a lot more good work in the portal from you!

Brilliant! i loved it!

Every now and then, you get a gem in the portal. Something that isnt good enough for Tom Fulp to polish and stick on the front page (or i could be wrong, he might), but something that enthralls the viewer throughout. This is one of those movies. I loved it! It definately had the MGS-feel, with your own unique touch. Now, constructive critisism isnt saying "theres room for improvement..." - the only advice I have is - dont repeat this style too often, just keep things unique! And keep making great movies!

Thanks for helping to regenerate the portal to how it was pre-sticks 'n' clocks! Come on people, we can do it!

Well if your referring to my style of drawing, that's really all I know. After my Zelda animation however, I do plan to take my style in a slightly new and more serious direction. I just hope it'll work.

[The Reign ep 5-1]

It was good, but...

I only could watch this halfway through. Im sorry, but i got bored quite frankly. The writing would have been better at automatic delay intervals, and in a better layout, without being half-invisible with Alpha settings. I couldnt watch it all the way through as the content in itself wasnt spectacular enough for me to watch. HOWEVER!!! The graphics were of a reasonable/suitable standard, but the animation seriously needs work to become smoother. I understand how hard it is to make a movie, though. Just look at some of my submitted ones, they are by no means the best

I would say that this movie had far too much reading... interactive stories are left to the pros... but by all means it was pretty good flash. Just get a good idea that needs less thinking to watch, and clicking to play, and I will be supporting it 100%! Keep on designing...

Thank you!!! If you have not seen 5-2, see it, I think it works better. Plus, I'm working woth frame by frame action now, so I really appreciate your review, and I'm glad you like it somewhat... I appreciate and honest review that tells me what I need to get better, unlike bongojim...

Great humour...ok design

okay, i rated the graphics quite low, but the way i see it, you probably wanted the graphics and animation like that as it effectively fits the concept well! but i dont judge on good intentions... however it was good. The voice was great, but at times it seemed to cut a bit short, and was probably responsible for the large filesize due to not using loops. Very funny movie, great stuff! the presentation of text *could* have been improved, but i am giving this movie a 6, because it was pretty funny and good! well done!

okay, what the hell? it had some relatively good sound compared to a lot of the crap on newgrounds, but other than that, it was childish. if it was a childish humour style, symbolising George Bush himself, then that would have been great! but i honestly think that wasnt the case, was it? so did you write the script all by yourself?? how clever... anyways, you seriously need to either drastically improve your humour, or concentrate on your style and graphics to make more interesting serious movies (probably the latter)

Great, simply great!

WOW! That is probably one of the most effective Newgrounds movies I have seen... not only did you use great animation appropriately (i.e. not overusing the tweening, etc.) but you made a well-formed point! That was great work! you also included great newgrounds screenshots in the style of the movie! and the voice.... brilliant! it was probably the funniest thing yet on Newgrounds... on par with Yes and No. Great work, keep it up!

ok, i consider myself to be a non-biased viewer, and even if something sucks, if it has good concepts/coding or ANYTHING i will rate it fairly... this is a 30-second-long motion tween, with badly fitted music for the sake of it, and the Microsoft Sam voice playing a string of letters... fuck that! but from the looks of it, you have got some okay-ish sprites... if you worked on your animation and drawing, and thought of a concept that actually was good and made sense, you might be a good flash designer, but now... that was shit, sorry to say.
